Your Data
When placing an order with The Digital Archivist: Scanning & Digital Preservation, we collect the following personal data:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The details of your order (number of slides etc)
This data is collected solely for the purposes of communicating progress on your order and to ask queries, and also to return the completed work back to you. We do not use this data for marketing purposes and we do not share this data with anyone else for marketing purposes either, however we may have to use a third party system for the administration of our accounts so that we can hold the details of our invoices to you.
We do not offer an opt-out to providing this data as it is the bare minimum required to process your order and we do not provide any marketing once you have given us your data.
Your data is held securely on servers which are operated and maintained by one of the largest web hosting companies in the world and may be hosted outside of Europe.
How long we retain your data
We do not wish to hold this data longer than is neccessary, however we are obliged to hold a set of accounts for 7 years for auditing reasons, therefore we will retain your data for 7 years after your order has been completed.
